I'm a software engineer living in Oakland and working at Credit Karma in San Francisco. In previous lives, I was a financial analyst at Sterling Stamos and a Japanese-to-English patent translator.

I like making things, including scavenger hunts, tessellating cookies, tactile mazes, breakup songs, and obstacle courses.

I enjoy going to strange gatherings and sometimes blog about them.

I like to quantify myself and have faithfully tracked every dollar spent and every meal consumed since January 2011.
